HISTORY:
La Mision Ministries was founded in January 2009 when Erin and Chad Fransen felt God inviting them to partner with Templo Elim Cristiano, a church at the heart of La Mision, a Mexican village located one hour south of the US border. La Mision Ministries was established to serve the church as well as the community of La Mision, and to raise leaders for Jesus Christ.
LOCATION/ABOUT LA MISION:
La Mision is a town located in a valley, set in the mountains, not far from the Pacific Ocean. The town is home to approximately 3,000 people. La Mision is a rural town, which depends on tourism, construction, and some agriculture. Many people move here from the south of Mexico in the hopes of a better life.
